📊 Statistics

The moment an X account is connected, Fren One starts building its statistics: follower growth, mention and reply volume, sentiment, and a feed of the actual mentions. Everything lives on the account's Overview page — X has no separate Analytics page.

Overview​

The X dashboard gives you:

  • Four stat cards with deltas against the prior period
  • Four charts — followers, daily mentions and replies, active followers, and sentiment
  • A Recent Mentions list with sentiment labels and direct links to each post
  • Daily AI Insights cards that call out shifts worth your attention, when enabled

Where to find it​

  1. Open your project in the Fren One webapp.
  2. Select the X account — the Overview opens with the statistics on it.

The header shows the account name with "X (Twitter) · Dashboard". Accounts connected by Fren One staff carry an "Unverified — monitoring only" badge here.

Performance​

The Performance section covers a date range you pick with the range filter — the default is the last 30 days, and you can go back up to 365 days. Each stat card shows a delta chip comparing the selected window against the prior period of the same length.

Recent Mentions​

Below the charts, Recent Mentions lists the latest posts that mention the account. Each row shows a sentiment pill (Positive, Neutral, or Negative), the author's @handle and follower count, the time, an excerpt of the post, and a View on X link to open it directly. Five mentions are shown at first; "Show all {count} mentions" expands the list, up to 20.

Before any data has arrived, the list shows "No mentions yet" with "Data appears after the first daily sync."

AI Insights​

When AI Insights are enabled, a daily pass reviews the account's activity and posts cards for anything notable:

  • Mention volume shifts — week-over-week changes in how much the account is being talked about
  • Follower growth — significant percentage changes in the follower count
  • Sentiment shifts — moves in the share of positive mentions
  • Notable mentions — mentions from authors with 5,000+ followers
  • An all-clear card — "Brand presence on X is steady" — when nothing stands out

How the data is gathered​

  • A first sync runs immediately when the account is connected, so the dashboard isn't blank; after that, metrics refresh roughly every 2 hours.
  • Followers is the core tracked metric, pulled from X on every sync. Mention volume and sentiment are computed from the mentions Fren One ingests — each mention is sentiment-scored automatically as it arrives.

Best practices​

Reading the dashboard
  • Compare like with like: the delta chips already measure against a prior period of equal length, so widen the range for trends and narrow it around launches or announcements.
  • Watch Active Followers as well as Total Followers — a flat follower count with rising unique authors still means growing engagement.
  • Skim Recent Mentions for Negative pills after a big post — the sentiment chart tells you that something moved, the mentions tell you why.
  • Pair the dashboard with Listening so conversations that don't @-mention you show up too.
Troubleshooting

The dashboard is empty right after connecting?

  • The first sync runs immediately but takes a moment — refresh the Overview after a minute.
  • The full picture (follower-change tracking and reply-based signals) arrives with the recurring sync, which runs roughly every two hours.

Follower deltas look flat?

  • Follower counts update on the ~2-hour sync cadence, so intraday moves appear with a delay; the Growth Rate card measures across the whole selected period.

A mention you saw on X isn't listed?

  • Mentions are ingested on the recurring sync — very recent posts appear on the next run. The Recent Mentions list shows the latest 20.
