🔗 Invite Links

Invite Links turns your members into recruiters: create invite links that reward the inviter with XP or a role for every member they bring in, and track which invite onboarded each new member. The section has two tabs — Reward Links for creating rewarded invites, and Invite Tracker for attribution.

Overview​

  • Create reward invite links — real Discord invites the agent generates in a channel you choose
  • Reward inviters with XP or a role each time someone joins through their link
  • Cap redemptions with a max-uses limit, or leave links unlimited
  • The Invite Tracker attributes every join to the invite that brought them in
  • /check invite lists the members onboarded through a given invite, right in Discord

Configuration​

To manage invite links:

  1. Open your project in the Fren One webapp.
  2. Select the Discord server you want to configure.
  3. In the sidebar under Agent Configuration, select Invite Links — the Reward Links tab opens by default.
  4. Select "Add Link" to create a reward link.

Each link is created and edited in its own modal:

RoleRole reward only. Role granted to members who join with this invite. Required.
Max UsesMaximum number of joins through the link. 0 = unlimited. Default: 0.

Each saved link's row shows the invite code, its reward and redemption count, and three actions: Copy invite link (copies https://discord.com/invite/{code} to share anywhere), Edit, and Delete.

Deleting is permanent

Deleting an invite link asks for confirmation and is permanent — the link stops working and can't be restored.

Invite Tracker​

Switch to the Invite Tracker tab for a read-only view of who each invite brought in, attributed to the member who created it. Tracking is best-effort and covers joins from when it was enabled onward.

Selecting an invite opens a "Joined via this invite" list showing each joiner's name and join date.

How it works in Discord​

When you create a reward link, the agent generates a real Discord invite in the channel you selected — members share it like any other invite. When someone joins through it, the agent attributes the join and grants the reward (XP or the role) to the inviter. Rewards are deduped per member, so the same person joining repeatedly doesn't farm rewards, and a max-uses cap stops the link once it's spent.

Alongside reward links, the agent tracks general invite usage by comparing per-invite use counts at each join to work out which invite was used. Admins can run /check invite in Discord to list the members onboarded through a given invite.

Saving your changes​

Changes on this page apply immediately when you save each link — there is no page-level Save bar. Deleting a link asks for confirmation.

Best practices​

Growth campaigns that stay clean
  • Set Max Uses for limited campaigns — a link for "first 50 joins" enforces itself.
  • Toggle Active off instead of deleting when you want to pause a campaign but keep its stats.
  • Reward a role (like "Recruiter") for social proof, or XP to feed your leaderboard economy.
  • Pick the invite's channel deliberately — it's where new joiners land, and it can't be changed after creation.
Troubleshooting

An inviter didn't get their reward?

  • Rewards are deduped per member — a member who already joined through the link before doesn't count again.
  • Check the link's Active toggle and whether Max Uses has been reached.

The tracker shows "Unknown" for the inviter?

  • Attribution is best-effort — some joins can't be matched to a specific invite.

Older joins are missing from the tracker?

  • Tracking only covers joins from when it was enabled onward; it can't backfill history.
