📆 Scheduler

The Scheduler feature allows administrators to automate posts in their group. This can be used for one-time announcements or recurring reminders about important updates, events, or content. Scheduled messages support multimedia, providing flexibility for engaging your community.

Overview

With the Scheduler, you can:

  • Schedule one-time announcements for specific dates and times
  • Set up recurring messages at regular intervals
  • Add interactive buttons to scheduled posts
  • Automatically delete messages after a set period
  • Post across different time zones

This feature ensures your community stays active and informed even when you're not online.

Configuration

To access the Scheduler:

  1. Use the /settings command in your chat
  2. Navigate to 📆 Content Scaling📆 Scheduler
  3. Select Create Scheduled Message to begin

Creating a Scheduled Message

Go to Scheduled Messages Settings and select Create Scheduled Message.

Configuration Options

Title

Set an internal title for your scheduled message to easily identify it later when managing your scheduled posts.

Example titles:

  • "Daily Welcome Message"
  • "Weekly Event Reminder"
  • "Monthly Newsletter"
Descriptive Titles

Use clear, descriptive titles that help you quickly identify the purpose of each scheduled message.

Buttons

Add interactive buttons to your scheduled message.

Uses:

  • Linking to websites
  • Directing to X (Twitter) posts
  • Connecting to other resources
  • Call-to-action buttons

💡 Useful for linking to websites, X (Twitter) posts, or other resources directly from the scheduled post.

Button format:

Button Text | URL

Timezone

Select the timezone you want the post to follow.

Important: This ensures your message is posted at the correct local time for your primary audience.

Common timezones:

  • UTC
  • EST/EDT (Eastern Time)
  • PST/PDT (Pacific Time)
  • CET/CEST (Central European Time)
  • And many more...
Global Communities

For global communities, consider scheduling duplicate messages at different times to reach different time zones.

Date

Choose the exact date you want your scheduled message to be posted.

Format: Select from calendar interface or enter manually.

Time

Select the specific time for the post to be sent.

Note: It will follow the timezone you have selected.

Format: Use 24-hour or 12-hour format depending on your system.

Optimal Posting Times

Schedule posts when your community is most active. Review your chat analytics to determine peak activity periods.

Deletion Mode

Toggle if you want the scheduled message to automatically delete itself after a certain period.

Options:

  • No deletion: Message stays permanently
  • Delete after X time: Set a specific duration

  • Temporary announcements
  • Time-sensitive information
  • When the group is less busy and posts stack up
  • Keeping the chat clean and focused

Example: Delete announcement after 24 hours.

Recurring

Set whether the message should be posted only once or recurring at set intervals.

Options:

  • One-time: Posts once at the scheduled date/time
  • Recurring: Posts at regular intervals

Common intervals:

  • 10m (every 10 minutes) - For very frequent updates
  • 1h (hourly) - Regular reminders
  • 24h (daily) - Daily messages
  • 7d (weekly) - Weekly updates
  • 30d (monthly) - Monthly newsletters
Recurring Frequency

Be mindful of how often recurring messages post. Messages that are too frequent could come across as spam.

Saving Your Scheduled Message

After setting up your scheduled message, click Save to confirm and activate it.

Once this is done, the bot will confirm the creation of the scheduled message and it will be added to your scheduled posts list.

Managing Scheduled Messages

Viewing Scheduled Messages

Access your list of scheduled messages to:

  • See all upcoming posts
  • Check their schedules
  • Review their settings
  • Monitor their status

Editing Scheduled Messages

You can edit existing scheduled messages to:

  • Update the content
  • Change the timing
  • Modify buttons
  • Adjust deletion settings
  • Enable/disable recurring

Deleting Scheduled Messages

Remove scheduled messages that are no longer needed or were created in error.

Daily Welcome Message

Scenario: Greet your community every morning.

Configuration:

  • Title: "Daily Morning Greeting"
  • Timezone: Your community's primary timezone
  • Time: 9:00 AM
  • Recurring: 24h
  • Deletion Mode: Delete after 12 hours
  • Content: "Good morning! Welcome to a new day in our community! 🌅"

Event Reminders

Scenario: Remind members about an upcoming AMA.

Configuration:

  • Title: "AMA Reminder - 1 Hour"
  • Date: Event date
  • Time: 1 hour before event
  • Recurring: One-time
  • Buttons: "Join AMA | [Event Link]"
  • Deletion Mode: Delete after event ends

Weekly Updates

Scenario: Share community highlights every week.

Configuration:

  • Title: "Weekly Community Digest"
  • Day: Every Sunday
  • Time: 6:00 PM
  • Recurring: 7d
  • Deletion Mode: Delete after 3 days
  • Content: Summary of week's activities

Rule Reminders

Scenario: Periodic reminder of community guidelines.

Configuration:

  • Title: "Community Guidelines"
  • Recurring: 24h
  • Time: 12:00 PM
  • Deletion Mode: Delete after 2 hours
  • Buttons: "Read Full Rules | [Rules Link]"

Troubleshooting

Scheduled message not posting?

  • Verify the date and time are set correctly

  • Consider daylight saving time adjustments

Buttons not working?

Recurring messages posting too often?

  • Ensure bot has permission to delete messages
